Pgy1 Neurology Residency Postion



University of New Mexico has an unexpected vacancy for a PGY 1 position starting with 1 year in Internal Medicine followed by 3 years in Neurology. Applicants interested in this position must have graduated from an accredited medical school within 3 years or is in a US postgraduate training program, must have an excellent documented command of the English language, must have the appropriate physical and mental health to be responsible for patients in a rigorous training environment, must not have had significant academic difficulty during his/her undergraduate medical education; for example, failing or marginal grades in a significant portion of the curriculum or a failure to pass USMLE, Parts I and II. Minimum USMLE score of 210 on both Step I and II. Finally, the applicant must be a US citizen, possess a green card or possess a J-1 Visa prior to initiation of training.
