We are very excited to announce that we have been approved by the ACGME for a Transitional Year Residency program beginning July 1, 2017!
We are working to get the program listed in ERAS and hope to be accepting applications through ERAS by the end of the week. In the meantime, if you or someone you know is interested in this new program, application documents may be sent to: kimberly.sorrells@hcahealthcare.com.
The most successful candidates will have the following attributes:
• Meet the following score criteria: USMLE I score above 200 and USMLE II score above 209, COMLEX scores I and II above 400 with no more than one failure on all collective scores.
• Medical school graduation date that does not exceed 2 years, with the exception of military or government service obligations.
• IMGs must have a valid ECFMG certificate.
• Must not have been released from another program on the grounds of poor academic performance or professional disciplinary circumstances.
• Please note, we cannot sponsor H1-B visas.
